Why "Heimdall"?
In Norse mythology, Heimdall is the Watchman of the Gods — guardian of Bifrost, the bridge between worlds. He requires less sleep than a bird, can see for hundreds of miles in any direction, and can hear grass growing and wool forming on sheep. Nothing crosses his bridge unnoticed.
He stands at the boundary between order and chaos, ensuring that only what is rightful may pass. When Ragnarök comes, it is Heimdall who sounds the Gjallarhorn to alert all realms. The ultimate signal: something has crossed that should not have.
